We started Purpose CPA with a vision of a world where all businesses are conscious businesses and people, planet and profit go hand-in-hand. Every day and every year, we aim to keep doing good things ourselves and provide great accounting services to our clients so that we may gain the trust and opportunity to help do them the same.
We have been making positive impact for the past two years. This year, in a year still filled with uncertainty, we continued to challenge ourselves to do more. Purpose CPA has gone through incredible growth this year and it has been enjoyable juggling all the different priorities that comes with growth. Despite that, we pride ourselves as being goal seekers and action setters. As advisors, we believe it is our responsibility to be so. We set our goals for the year in early 2022 and we are beaming with excitement to announce our impact achievements for this year:
-
Increased our donation revenue to 1.4% with donations to Kiva, The Forum for Women’s Entrepreneurs, MOSAIC and Greater Vancouver Foodbank

-
Delivered multiple presentations on financial literacy to various organizations across the Greater Vancouver Area: Burnaby Board of Trade, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, weBC, Small Business BC and Black Business & Professionals Association

Purpose CPA still has our sights on achieving B-Corp certification. With what we achieved above we continue to take steps in the right direction to certification. As we look forward to next year, we as excited as ever to plan new ways for us to fulfill our vision.
